Our faculty are dedicated to equipping you with the practical skills required to excel in Western Canada's agribusiness sector. The Agribusiness concentration incorporates real-world insights into the interrelated aspects of agri-business and agriculture. This includes fields such as marketing, finance, technology, supply chain management, as well as social responsibility and risk management. We aim to provide a comprehensive overview of agribusiness and its interaction with the food production system, from farm to table. 

The BA Business Administration degree is provincially authorized as a university-level degreemaking it a perfect first step on your journey towards a career in agribusiness or to further graduate studies.

This program is designed to provide students with a well-rounded course of business education that is rooted in and enhanced by studies in Biblical Studies, Theology, and Arts and Science. Upon graduation, business majors are equipped to serve both Christian and secular organizations. Through balanced exposure to theoretical and practical learning, graduates are ready to contribute to organizational goals with professionalism and integrity. This degree is designed to give students an overview of the field of business while specializing in one particular area. 

Past graduates have pursued many types of careers including that of a business manager, entrepreneur, accountant, service technician, banking service provider, business development consultant, and many other occupations.

The BA Business Administration, concentration in Agribusiness,  is a 120 credit hour degree program in which students spend 4 years studying at Briercrest. The BA Business Administration requires a minimum of 24 credit hours of 300+ course work within the context of a 120 credit hour degree.

Saskatchewan Higher Education Quality Assurance
The program is offered with the written authorization of the Minister of Advanced Education effective July 31, 2021. This authorization was provided after the program proposal underwent a quality assurance review and was found to meet the standards established by the Minister. Prospective students are responsible for satisfying themselves that the program and the degree will be appropriate to their needs.
