The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program offers three tracks of study for international students. It offers English and academic instruction to help you meet the language proficiency requirements you need to begin studies at Briercrest College.

Take courses focused on building English and academic language skills, intercultural experience, and critical thinking skills. As a member of the Briercrest community, you will be enriched personally, spiritually, and academically through rich campus life.

  • EAP 103 Academic Discourse
  • Choose one elective:
    • EAP 104 Pronunciation Strategies
    • EAP 105 Beyond the Classroom


High Intermediate:

  • EAP 200 Academic Writing Skills
  • EAP 201 Academic Reading Skills
  • EAP 202 Oral Communication
  • EAP 203 Academic Discourse
  • Choose one elective (Electives will be offered based on enrollment):
    • EAP 204 IELTS Prep.
    • EAP 205 Business English
