One thing I learned at Kaléo was balance; and to even attempt the five aspects (community, ministry, leadership, academics, and adventure) you need balance. This taught me that I didn’t only need time management though, I needed to fully trust Jesus always and with that I grew further in my relationship with Christ, as well as fellow students because essentially, we were all in the same boat, and literally in the same boat on the SALTS Trip. I couldn’t have learned this anywhere else because the program is what gets you involved.
